About the Job

With the number of users of the Energy Transition Model (ETM) rapidly increasing, we are currently looking to expand our team. We are looking for someone that doesn't scare away from getting her/his hands dirty on the inner workings of the ETM, but is also willing to explore how the ETM can better support governments, grid operators, consultants and others in the challenging choices they have to make.

You will be working on projects that are aimed at improving the usefullness of the ETM for its user base. These can be technical: for example researching the ins and outs of a new promising technology and adding it to the ETM. Other times these are more conceptual: for example improving the workflow around the ETM to better support its user in the challenging decision they have to make in the energy transition.

You will be working closely together with our internal team and external network of experts, ranging from energy modelers and developers to energy experts and consultants.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a professional working proficiency in Dutch (because many, if not all, of the external projects will be in Dutch)
• has at least a Master's degree with an excellent academic record
• has strong analytical and quantitative skills
• has up to three years of relevant experience (so fresh out of college is fine.)
• is representative of Quintel Intelligence
• is passionate about energy, modelling and helping others use the ETM
• is a creative and innovative thinker
• has strong communication skills
• enjoys problem solving and in-depth projects with our team of experts

Location

You will work from our office in the center of Amsterdam. You will travel around the Netherlands, and possibly Europe.
