Combining a passion for understanding the energy system with a desire to support governments, grid operators, consultants and others to advance the energy transition in the Netherlands and abroad!
With the number of users of the Energy Transition Model (ETM) rapidly increasing, we are currently looking to expand our team. We are looking for someone that doesn't scare away from getting her/his hands dirty on the inner workings of the ETM, but is also willing to explore how the ETM can better support governments, grid operators, consultants and others in the challenging choices they have to make.
You will be working on projects that are aimed at improving the usefullness of the ETM for its user base. These can be technical: for example researching the ins and outs of a new promising technology and adding it to the ETM. Other times these are more conceptual: for example improving the workflow around the ETM to better support its user in the challenging decision they have to make in the energy transition.
You will be working closely together with our internal team and external network of experts, ranging from energy modelers and developers to energy experts and consultants.
You will work from our office in the center of Amsterdam. You will travel around the Netherlands, and possibly Europe.
Please send your resume, motivation letter and a list of your university and secondary school grades to jobs@quintel.com. We will contact you as soon as possible.
Should you have any questions, feel free to send us an email.
We help our clients answer questions like: "What does a climate neutral energy system for my area look like?". The ETM is used by governments, grid operators, consultants, NGOs, academics and others to research their options to bring down greenhouse gas emissions. Since the energy transition is a highly collaborative effort, the ETM is rapidly becoming a factual framework for discussions between various stakeholders in the energy transition.
Quintel develops the Energy Transition Model and is a Dutch company, with an office in the centre of Amsterdam. Our team gets the work done during office hours, so that we can enjoy our evenings, with the occasional after-work drinks.
