About the Job

We are currently looking to expand our team with a talented person interested in building or expanding his/her expertise in the field of energy. Someone who wishes to work with high-profile businesses, organisations and governments on the subject of energy transition.

You will be working on projects that are aimed at shaping and advancing the energy transition. These can be technical: for example researching the ins and outs of a new promising technology. Other times these are organisational: for example facilitating a collaboration between parties.

You will be working closely together with our internal team and external network of experts: ranging from energy modelers and developers to energy experts.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a professional working proficiency in Dutch (because many, if not all, of the collaborations will be in Dutch)
  • has at least a Master's degree with an excellent academic record
  • has strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • has up to three years of relevant experience (so fresh out of college is fine.)
  • is representative of Quintel Intelligence
  • is passionate about energy and consulting
  • is a creative and innovative thinker
  • has strong communication skills
  • enjoys problem solving and in-depth projects with our team of experts

Location

You will work from our office in the center of Amsterdam. You will travel around the Netherlands, possibly Brussels and Northwestern Europe.

About us

We answer questions like: "If everybody switched to electric cars, how many solar plants would have to be built?". The ETM is used by governments, companies and teachers to evaluate strategies dealing with events like high fuel prices, diminishing gas reserves and disruptive technologies.

Quintel develops the Energy Transition Model and is a Dutch (grown up) startup, with an office in the centre of Amsterdam. Our team gets the work done during office hours, so that we can enjoy our evenings, with the occasional after-work drinks.
